There is nothing like taking off in the morning and all you can see for miles are bikes! Riding day after day passing bikes all day long - is a feeling you have to experience to understand. If you look closely, you will also see two rollerbladers! There were also three Unicycles on Ragbrai this year. Can you imagine rollerblading or riding a one wheel bike for five hundred miles! Only on Ragbrai.
This is where the road ahead of us became clogged up. We were in a double drafting line, and gave the hand signal to slow down. A biker from New Orleans was going so fast that he could not stop, and went between our drafting line, bounced off Wabbit and hit Capt. Curk. They both went down. Team Hot was with us, and helped call an ambulance from a town a couple miles up the road. The Biker had already gone down earlier this day and was all scraped up, and Chantal, the Queen, told us that earlier he had run her off the road. Well he found us again! He could not remember his name, phone number, and he was disorientated so they would not let him ride, and took him in the ambulance so others would not get hurt.

Tuesday Night, Team ToolMan camped next to our team. We got to know them and had a great time with them. Above, is the Cammy getting her hair dried by Team ToolMan and a hair dryer.
