"Our Sires Page"
When we are looking at horses on the web usually the mares are shown but seldom are the sires shown unless they own the stud. But I always wonder what the dad looks like, so I decided to put the sires of the horses on line too and let you see what we have bred to. And a little about them.
"Flash's Indian Music"
This big guy (and I do mean big) is the sire of our stallion "Flash's Standing Pride". He is about 16 hands. His owner is Glen Dale Robertson of Ava. "Chief" is what Glen calls him. Chief is very gentle his children ride him. He takes him on trail rides and never has a problem. I think this guy is a beautiful horse and so does everyone that meets him.
"Party's Sacred Smoke"
Party is the sire of "Fancy" a filly we bought from Dean and Shelia Collins in Pamona Missouri. We have since become great friends. We go down to visit them and Gary and Dean go riding and Shelia and I have a good time with their horses and foals. (I've got to get back to riding again). I wish they lived closer so we could spend more time together.
"Dreamspinner's Big Mack"
Mack is another of Dean and Shelia Collins stallions. He's 16 hands and throws really nice foals. We've bred Mary to him three times. We know we have only a fifty-fifty chance of having a palomino. Last year we had a chestnut and so I told Gary this year we should get a palomino (only kidding ).But sure enough this year we had a palomino filly and we bred back to him.
