Day Four of Ragbrai XXXV

Hampton to Cedar Falls

Here we are getting ready to leave our host home for the ride to Cedar Falls, Iowa

Picture is out of order, but these are from our host family in Cedar Falls. She had some great food waiting for us when we arrived.

Little things our host families do - just make you feel so at home and wanted. Debbie in Cedar Falls had little things like this through out her house for us.

LoneStar and SaltyDog in another conversation on the trip. We may have to make a new rule for next year about how much time you can spend with LoneStar each Day.

JR - if I have told you once, I have told you a hundred times .... quit picking up riders along the route and bringing them home!!!!!!

This was a great watering hole. Good music and great drinks. Oh and thanks to RocketMan for buying lunch for us....... And $145.00 later............... Great memory for us but I am not sure about you!!!!! Oh and of course Rocketman stole another Golf Cart and had two men chasing after him. I just love you Man!!!!!!

Here is another shot of the same place with the live music. Of course this is where Hawkeye was given a new name by the guy signing .... I still don't think we should change your name!

The state patrol just closed down the bar here, so we just went into town and spent another two hours in another great bar. This one was wall to wall people which is where we game our RV drive her new DogName. Great memory there!!!!!!

This was a great stop. All the dogs were there with all of our friends. Great time and Great memories - I'm sure all the dogs will remember this stop.

And best of all, Denz bought the drinks for all the dogs. I love you man!!!!! Set them up.

Towards the end of the day, you tend to get a little tired. Here we are taking a little break.

Here we are at the back porch of our host family in Cedar Falls. As you can see, we have it made. We had a fantastic dinner and sat and talked until dark with our host family.

Here we are the next morning saying good-by to our host family in Cedar Falls. You hate to leave because you have had so much fun.
