Day Seven of Ragbrai XXXV
Last Day of Ragbrai 35
Well - here we are on Saturday morning getting ready to leave another great host family. They were also taking off for a fun trip when we were taking off. We were going to have to leave Haus in the RV today. During the early morning, Haus didn't notice the 3 foot drop off and stepped off and sprained his foot (as you can see in the picture) front left.
Time to go, so the dogs started to get ready for their last day!!!!!!! You know, you start the week with a full seven days in front of you. You think - This is going to be a nice long week - and then suddenly before you want it to be - Poof - the week is over!!!!! Where did it go?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - another great watering hole for us to visit in.
Around the corner was a live band playing, and on the TV as one of the last days on the Tour De France.
Here we are starting to get into formation for another trip between towns.
This brings back so many Great memories!!!!! Just being able to ride in a group is a treat for me.
Here we are grabbing a quick bite before we move on.
As you can see, we enjoy socializing with others.
I believe that is the RocketMan ordering up another round of twenty cocktails.
Towards the end of the day - you tend to look like this on the last day. No one wants it to end.
After a great stop, TD and RocketMan will get the troups in line for our last ride of the day.
Here we go!!!! We are getting Close to Bellevue which is our ending town for Ragbrai XXXV.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - The Cocktail Master getting our drink order ready for us. We lov you Denz. Looking at RocketMan, he looks a quart low - so hurry up Denz!!!!!!
But not before grabbing a Spin member and giving her a hug!!!! This is a necessity for a RedDog Member. If you do this wrong, it is a team four and you have to buy a drink. Denz is showing us the proper Dog response.

Well yes it is and here we are coming to the Mississippi River to take a picture. I think we are the first ones to arrive from around 15,000 riders.
Yes - here we are walking down to take pictures at the river.
You cannot explain the feelings of riding together, sleeping together, eating together, and taking care of each other all along the way for seven days (we make it nine days together).
Being part of a team and working together to make this all happen is what it is all about.
Just looking at Semi (left) on his first week long ride not believing that he could have done this. This was a great moment for Semi.

Yes it is time to celebrate a great week - in fact for me this was the best Ragbrai Ever!!!!!!! And that is because of the team that TD put together. I think it was by far the best EVER!!!!!!!!

I hope I can do this when I am BooBoo's Age!!!!!!! And he is getting an new bike for next year!!!!! I love it.
Yup...... the party doesn't stop even though you are in Bellevue and the ride is over. The Ride Is Never OVER!!!! - to a true RAGBRAI RIDER.

Why is it always me that has my arm around another man????? I did get Woody to say "I love you Man" which was a week long job for me and him to work on. At the beginning of the week it was not in his dictionary of terms to us while with other men............ but I got that to change by the end of the week. Woody....... I love you Man!
