Here we are taking a team photo at Susie Weaver's House in Iowa Falls Wednesday Morning.
We love to stop along the way and visit with locals during the day. Our team has such a good time each day. We were all excited for this evening, because we were anticipating staying with our good friend and biking buddy Susie Weaver.
When we get to Susie's house, it was an awesome evening. We all sat around together enjoying Susie's wonderful hospitality.
Here is Susie. She put on an unbelievable dinner for us and Team H.O.T. First of all, we had beer!!!! The appetizers were Hogs Wings, along with Chips and Dips, with all the fixings to snack on before dinner.
Of course what would a dinner be without Iowa corn. In the background, you can see the river behind her house.
Then for dinner, we had these 2 1/2" pork chops! As many as you could eat!!!! And then for desert, cake and Ice cream. Then she even had breakfast for us the next day! You could not ask for a nicer host for Ragbrai.
